Accidentally tipped my minifridge upside down?

I bought a minifridge but as I was checking out I accidentally tipped it upside down. It was only upside down for a few seconds and then was righted. I was hoping to leave it in the box while I travel with it, so I don't want to have to take it out, plug it in, see if it works, defrost it, and then pack it back up. The side of the box says "Do not lay down." I have no idea how sensitive these things are...will it be okay, having just been tipped for a couple of seconds upside down? Or do I need to do exchange it?
