Ok one of my friend burned with very hot coffee in her wrist and it got all black? lol?

She was worried cuz supposely someone told her that she needs to go to the doctor because if she doesnt theres a possibility she'll lose her hand i told her thats bs but idk is that possible? i mean the worst thing that can happen is get infected maybe and leave a scar thats it i think no need to go to the doc, and btw i dont want answers from ppl who solve everything with goin to the doctor even when they got a little cough plz ty oOo and 10 points to whoevers helps me out here
