What does it really mean when a house leans? Please help!?

Get your Contractor dad to take a look at it for you. Otherwise get the structural engineer. Either way don't sign anything until it's been inspected. There's a reason it's been vacant for so long. While it may cost you some for the inspection, it may cost you a lot more if you don't. Good luck
