Books by Mary Shelley e.g. Frankenstein?

I have read Frankenstein of course. I liked it. I have also read some of her short stories. One thing that young people might like about her is that she was only about 18 when she wrote it. I have read many books by ens and Hardy and I would say that Mary Shelley is better than both. Hardy is depressing and he talks too much about the fields. If a character gets to be inconvinient, he just kills them off. ens writes two dimensional characters and is seriously cynical. He grew up poor an seems to have been jaded. Now concerning Austen she is one of the greatest literary minds of the 19th century. Her books are pretty girly though and people might prefer Shelley for digging a little deeper into the human mind.
