Do i have a Chest Infection?

I think i may have a chest infection but i need a second opinion. I've got a runny nose, chesty cough, sore chest and ribs (possibly where ive been coughing), phlegm (usually green/yellow), breathlessness and wheezing. I've got a doctors appointment for the end of the week but I was thinking that I could get some medicine to see me through until then.
