Will I still be eligible for grants or awards?

I was initially denied eligibility for financial aid because I received a couple of incompletes last semester. I explained that it was due to medical reasons and then I was told that my financial aid would be reinstated. Does that mean I may receive grants, or would the only aid available be for loans?
